Above is an image from my very first digital SLR shoot in 2006. Inspired by a class on 35mm photography which taught me the basics of manual camera operation, I took a classic still life object and waited for "the golden hour" with my Dad's old Minolta Dynax 5D.The first images I processed from this shoot were imbalanced and noisy, but a year later I stumbled upon the files again and produced this in Photoshop 7, my first successful digital image.
